About CETRI

For over 25 years, the Center for Electrical Trauma Research and Investigation has been the leading institution dedicated to understanding, treating, and preventing electrical injuries.

Our mission

To improve outcomes for individuals who have experienced electrical trauma through specialized clinical care, rigorous scientific research, and comprehensive education.

We strive to be the global leader in electrical trauma medicine, setting standards for evidence-based treatment while advancing the scientific understanding of electrical injuries.

Our Vision

A world where every electrical injury survivor has access to expert care and achieves optimal recovery through evidence- based treatment.

We aim to establish CETRI as the global leader in electrical trauma care, advancing innovative treatments and prevention to reduce electrical injuries worldwide.

Our History

A Legacy of Research, Care, & Clinical Excellence

Founded in 2009, CETRI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the research, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of electrical and electromagnetic injuries. Our multidisciplinary team provides specialized care for patients experiencing complex or persistent neurological, psychological, and physiological conditions following injury. Through advanced diagnostics and clinical research, we work to expand medical understanding while delivering personalized, patient-centered treatment. With decades of combined experience, CETRI is committed to improving recovery outcomes—particularly for patients whose conditions have been resistant to standard clinical care.

Electrical and electromagnetic injuries present unique clinical challenges. Unlike many traumatic injuries, their effects are not always immediately visible. Survivors may experience delayed or persistent neurological, cognitive, psychological, and physiological symptoms that can be difficult to detect using conventional diagnostic approaches. As a result, patients are often left without clear explanations for their symptoms and without coordinated treatment strategies.

CETRI was established to address this gap.
